Good News, and a New Pattern: Angry Winter Beanie

Hey everyone!

I'm sorry I've been away for so long! A lot has been happening and I've been on a little break. I have a few exciting things to share with you today!

First, an announcement: I'm pregnant! We are expecting our second little one next April - A boy! That's the reason for my break. I'm enjoying the chance to relax and work on some personal projects. I'm 20 weeks along now, and thankfully my severe morning sickness is just about gone.

Second, I just released another crochet pattern on Ravelry! What started out as a silly hat for my husband, has turned into a pattern and graph. It's currently listed for $2.00 on Ravelry. Here's the link, and a picture: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/angry-winter-beanie

Here's a coupon code, just for my readers! This code works on any of my patterns and is good until 12am Central Time, Friday Dec. 7th. Enjoy! Coupon code: JUNIOR

Thanks for your patience, and thanks for being a reader!

Petite Pet Pouch

Good day, everyone! Something very exciting has happened in our family recently. A tiny sick kitten showed up on our doorstep last month! Her eyes were matted shut and she was all skin and bones. My husband took her to the vet and we found out she had a respiratory infection and weighed only .75 pounds!  So... We adopted her! Her name is Dinah and she's doing much better. She's now 12 weeks old but her growth has been stunted. She's still less than 2 pounds!
It was important in the beginning to keep her warm, so I whipped up this little kitty cave to help her feel safe and cozy. You can make your own in just 30 minutes! Add it to your favorites on Ravlery here: Here's the free pattern:
